Today I pick up these two from a shelter that had taken good care of them and they weren’t as anxious to leave as some are. Goes to show you that some shelters do a better job than others. They are going to a wonderful and caring rescue so they will feel right at home again. Who knows maybe better than where the came from before being dumped at animal control. Never know. At times I wish they could talk, what stories they could tell I am sure.
Taco And The Bonded Pair
Saturday I pulled Taco from a shelter where he had been since early July. Since he had medical issues, I guess no one wanted him. A broken bone in his hip, multiple bite wounds from an attack from a larger dog. From the photo, it’s hard to tell, but he was a little tender to handle. Although still very sweet. The bonded pair, so full of energy, just wanted to get to where we were going and play and play. What a crew I had for this ride. Eight hours later we got there (took time for feeding and watering along the way), all tired but still in good spirits. The rescue was so happy to finally meet her new buddies, it was all kisses and slobbers for a few moments. All these guys have found a place they will be well cared for and have their needs looked after. It’s a start on their new journey.
