Yes, today I picked up this very cute pittie mom and her 7 pups. There was not even one of them that didn’t look like all the others. All were plumb, 7-8 weeks old and all were just black; not even a trace of any other color. We all know in adoptions that the coloration and variation in coats always help get them adopted sooner. Well with this group they will have to try a little harder on their spiel, maybe just stick with how adorable mom is and all will be just like her. We hope.

Today I picked up these two from the shelter in Santa Paula and everyone had tears in their eyes at seeing them off. Yes, today was the start of their journey to Colorado and hopefully a new start at a new life. As they were the shelter favorites it was harder for some to say their goodbyes than others, but all felt the loss of these two. Well every journey must have its first steps, these two were taking it in stride and they just wanted to go. The sooner they went, the sooner they would be there. I met the transporter who would be taking them and I know they will be well looked after. I just hope Douglas takes all the travelling well, as he is a bit older. We will see.
