Animal Transport

While we stopped documenting the stories of our transports in 2016, we continue to work directly with rescue organizations in getting animals out of high-kill shelters.

The Beginning Of Their Journeys

September 19, 2015 by Animal Resources

Today I went up to a farm community to pick up these two Rotts that the family wanted to be re-homed as they were moving and of course they couldn’t take their dogs. We named them Nikki and Niles and both were very sweet. They were a little confused as to what was going on but both appeared to be in good health, coats look good and no outward signs of any stress. Their vet visits begin next week then it’s on to training and evaluation to determine who goes where, to what rescue and family type they are best suited for. Today it’s bath time and just relaxing in the sun, getting used to their surroundings.

About Time You Got Here!!!

The Aussie was so quiet, not a peep the whole trip. When we finally arrived to transfer to the rescue’s SUV, she was very eager to get in and go. The pup just wanted to be held, didn’t care by who.
