Animal Transport

While we stopped documenting the stories of our transports in 2016, we continue to work directly with rescue organizations in getting animals out of high-kill shelters.

Confused?

July 22, 2014 by Animal Resources

Not sure what Axel was thinking when this photo was taken. When loading he was just a happy go lucky fella that just wanted to go. When we got to boarding, it’s like ok, where am I? He seems a little frightened and not sure what is going on. Can’t say I blame him. He came from a wonderful no kill shelter with lots of attention. So now what? Well he is on his way north to a rescue that will get him adopted and he will finally have a good home. Something that just never seemed to happen for him before. Good luck Axel.

Today Was Their Day

July 19, 2014 by Animal Resources

All six of these guys were scheduled to be killed today at a shelter down south of Los Angeles, but for a rescue stepping up to take them. By the time these photos were taken, they would have been killed. Not a one of them were fixed, so it’s no wonder they were where they were, plus many more. You won’t see photos of the many dogs that did die today, because nobody wanted them. Rescues can’t save them all, just some.
