Animal Transport

While we stopped documenting the stories of our transports in 2016, we continue to work directly with rescue organizations in getting animals out of high-kill shelters.

Adopt From Rescue Me!

Rescue Me helps people adopt animals from individuals, families, shelters and rescue groups.

We’ve pulled or transported over 3500 animals since 2012 in support of our rescue partners. Scroll down to read the stories behind transports from 2010 – 2016.

The Saddest Face

April 11, 2015 by Animal Resources

Today I picked up Fiona from a shelter early in the morning and sad Fiona looked like she was hardly awake. She is very sweet and had been at the shelter for quite awhile before a wonderful rescue stepped up for her and asked me to go get her. How any person could give her up is beyond me as she is very quiet and just wants to be with someone. Well she will get that chance now because the rescue that she will be going to has an outstanding reputation for placing Shepherds with great families. Hang in there Fiona, your time is coming.

Meet The China Doll

March 21, 2015 by Animal Resources

Nope, I didn’t transport this girl, but I did pull her from a shelter in south L.A. I just couldn’t be in two places at once and she had to get out of there like now. So another transporter picked her up and took her to boarding to be vetted and readied for her journey north where she has a rescue waiting. From there she will be adopted and finally have a home that she can call her own. Thanks for being patient China, I can only do so much in a day.
