Animal Transport

While we stopped documenting the stories of our transports in 2016, we continue to work directly with rescue organizations in getting animals out of high-kill shelters.

Adopt From Rescue Me!

Rescue Me helps people adopt animals from individuals, families, shelters and rescue groups.

We’ve pulled or transported over 3500 animals since 2012 in support of our rescue partners. Scroll down to read the stories behind transports from 2010 – 2016.

16, The Magic Number

August 9, 2015 by Animal Resources

All were pulled from a severely overcrowded shelter, that many more need to be saved from, but that’s all we could save today. Are they all cute and cuddly? Sure, but so are many others that were left behind. In the coming days we will try for a second group to get out. Don’t know for sure if we can, it depends on whether the rescues have room for more. But we will try; that’s all we can do.

Annabelle

August 6, 2015 by Animal Resources

In the picture she looks maybe sad, but expectant; but in person she was anything but. She wanted to say hi to everyone and everything. She was very personable and for just coming out of the shelter, she really was simply happy to be out. I guess we would be too. She had been there a few weeks and it was her time. She will be vetted in the next few days then be on the road to a rescue that has already spoken for her and can’t wait until she gets there. Be patient all, her time is coming soon.
