A Fuzzy Update

April 7, 2014 by Animal Resources

I will let the rescue’s words speak for this guy. When I picked him up at the shelter he was so bad, medically, I didn’t believe the rescue had enough money to get him well again – the top two photos below were taken at the shelter, also click here to read his story that day. They did and you can see the results in the two bottom photos below. Thank you all for a rescue well done.

Update on Fuzzy from San Bernardino City pound at Xmas time, whom Vandana took in. I took these pix yesterday. He looks GREAT. Coat is growing in and he is happy. This poor guy. What a journey. He was in such pain for a long time.
Dr. Werber helped him so much, and his staff also were fantastic even with his grumpy side. Fuzzy, now ‘Stevie’ is turned around now. Vandana had his eyes taken care of. He is blind in one. The new and 3rd vet injected meds to reduce the size of the blind eye. She took him to a specialist. His ear kept on oozing at times. She had him to 2 other vets, both gave him ear meds. Vondana had his ears worked on again and they found one more fox tail imbedded in the inner ear. Initially, while at Dr. Werber’s, they took out 300 fox tails on his body. Dr. Werber, after a couple of tries and getting his ear cleaned out, went into the ear, deep down and found 6 fox tails in the ear. One of his vet techs cleaned his teeth while under … gratis.. How caring of them.
With his two eyes being treated and the horrendous ear infections finally gone fox tails gone, and all the love and TLC from Vandana, he is now pain free. He is able to be petted and has pep in his step too. He’s happy with Vandana and vice-versa. Dennis thank you for getting him from the pound, and thanks to the rescue, Chris, who pulled him. He’s alive because of her, Vandana and Dennis. Happy Dawg Days for Stevie (aka SBC Fuzzy).
