For most people eight would be a good number, but for us in rescue there is always one more that we wished we could have gotten out. Today I pulled 3 pitties, 4 chihuahuas, 1 papillon, and one chi-pug little character that was kind of scraggly, but cute. The pitties went to the Simi holding facility that we use to hold dogs before transporting elsewhere. These guys are all sceduled for Monday’s transport to Tucson via Phoenix with Glen. I transported the 5 little ones to Katilla Animal Hospital in Anaheim, from there they will be further transported to a rescue in Washington state. They will be traveling a while before finally settling down, but at least they have a chance at a better life at some point. For others, they were not as lucky. maybe tomorrow will be their day. We can only hope so.
